They listen and advise.
They are willing to share their expertise about how to:
- Flesh out big ideas.
- How to narrow them down to logical implementation steps.
- How to benchmark best practices so we aren’t reinventing a wheel.
- How to change course when needed.
- How to keep our eyes on the “What success looks like” goal.
- How to create an effective team by building on the strengths everyone brings with them to the collaboration.
- And how to communicate/market the visions and plans so everyone can work together!

Our Coaches Council is excited to be a part of a grassroots effort! They have had big ideas for how to gather consensus and work toward grassroots goals for a long time!
All are welcome to get involved with the #AikenCoachesCouncil group:
- Collaborators that would like to contribute their “systems” expertise to the #AikenCoachesCouncil are welcome to attend any of our “open to the public” Monthly Networking Events (We support local businesses and local musicians!) and speak with one of our coaches!
- Do you use a process that helps teams achieve success on a regular basis? You are welcome to teach a skill share course in the Collaboration Room, upstairs at the Ground Floor. Room rental rate is $25/hour. We will help market your course to any groups that could use that expertise in their activities.
- Please share articles about inspiring grassroots collaborations around the world with the #AikenCoachesCouncil hashtag. Some group might take the notion and run with it!
- One man with one idea has a tough time writing a success story. Multi-talented grassroots teams are accomplishing some amazing feats in their communities and having fun at the same time!

#AikenCoachesCouncil participants are not the most creative of our collaborators. They bring a different set of skills to the Partnership. They really know how to identify who is creative, who is organized, who is driven, who is the cheerleader, who is the work horse, and how to bring out the quiet collaborator’s best traits!
